Engine Performance & Transmission
The CT4-V Blackwing version features a high-output 472 horsepower, V6 twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter engine. The standard CT4-V comes equipped with a 325-horsepower, dual-volute turbocharged I4 2.7-liter engine. While both models offer a precision-shift ten-speed automatic transmission, driving enthusiasts in Phoenix will note that the 6-speed manual transmission is exclusive to the Blackwing model.
Size and Dimensions

While the interior dimensions and passenger volume are identical for both versions, the Blackwing features unique exterior aero-bodywork. You will find that the Blackwing is approximately one-half inch longer overall and sits slightly lower for improved center of gravity during performance driving.
CT4-V and CT4 Trim Levels
The Cadillac CT4 lineup offers various trims to balance luxury and sportiness. While the CT4-V is a specific performance trim, it is often compared against the core CT4 trim levels: Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport.
Luxury Trim
The Luxury trim serves as the entry point, featuring a 237-hp 2.0L turbocharged engine. Standard safety features include parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, and automatic emergency braking. Note: This trim features Inteluxe seating rather than leather.
Premium Luxury Trim
This trim adds genuine leather-appointed seating, driver memory settings, and LED ambient interior lighting. It offers the 2.0L engine standard, with an available upgrade to the 2.7L engine paired with a 10-speed transmission.
Sport Trim
The Sport trim provides a darker, aggressive aesthetic with performance grilles, rockers, and tail lamps. It includes 18-way adjustable front performance seats and alloy pedals for a more tactile driving experience.
CT4-V Blackwing Specialized Trims
The CT4-V Blackwing offers three distinct interior tiers: Standard, Mid-Level, and Up-Level. These allow owners to customize the track-ready cabin with luxury upgrades.
Standard Trim
Features a 12-inch HD diagonal cluster with track-customizable personas. The interior is Jet Black with carbon fiber console accents and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. It includes the 472-hp twin-turbo engine and Brembo® high-performance brakes.
Mid-Level Trim
Adds Sky Cool Gray as an interior color option. This tier features a sophisticated combination of leather and cloth seating with suede-microfiber appointments and 16-way power seat adjustments.
Up-Level Trim
The pinnacle of comfort, adding heated and ventilated front seats with lumbar massage. It introduces the Natural Tan interior color option and full semi-aniline leather seating surfaces.
