The third generation of Cadillac CTS-V vehicles was launched in 2016, along with the ATS-V Sedan and the ATS-V coupe. The V-Sport was also introduced in 2016, which was essentially an XTS-V with an upgraded trim line. In 2019, the popular CTS-V automobile was discontinued and replaced with the Cadillac CT5-V. At the same time, the Cadillac CT4-V was launched. In 2022, Cadillac launched both the CT5-V Blackwing and the CT4 Blackwing. In 2022, Cadillac announced it was launching its first SUV in the V-series, the Cadillac Escalade, which became available for sale in 2023.
